About me

The book that changed my life is called In Cold Blood, by Truman Capote. The fact that it was a true story impacted me the most and I wanted to find out about the author. I was a journalist.
Researching issues, listening to stories and telling people about them seemed like the best job in the world. That’s why I studied journalism. I did it for 5 years at the University of Antioquia, where I fell in love with the profession even more.
After graduating as a journalist, I had the opportunity to work in one of the most remembered newspapers in the city (El Mundo), and then took the step to work in one of the most read newspapers in the country (Qhubo Medellin). My work allowed me to live the dream of listening to stories, researching topics and telling them.
I worked as a journalist for more than 9 years where I covered all kinds of stories, from citizen complaints to organized crime. In addition, for the last 3 years I have been the editor in charge of the newspaper’s website and for 3 years I was the producer of a radio news broadcast.
I am now in Canada, where I am about to finish my studies in Media Communications.
